1. What are the advantages of becoming a member?
The primary reason to become a member of Sistahs for Sistahs is so that you will be able to directly contact, via email, other ladies who have posted their profile on this site. All visitors are encouraged to submit a personal profile and look through the gallery of existing profiles, but only members have the ability to contact other people who have submitted profiles. Also, members are kept up-to-date via email about special Sistahs for Sistahs events and promotions. Membership is normally 19.95, however we often run member discount specials. Be sure to inquire about Sistahs For Sistahs discounts!

2. How do I post my profile and photo?
It's simple. For non-members, simply click on the "Click here to instantly post your free Sistahs Connecting Personal Profile" on the home page, then fill out and submit the profile submission form. After you have submitted the form, you will be given instructions on submitting your personal profile photo.
For members, please fill out the personal profile submission form at www.sistahsforsistahs.com/join.asp.

3. Why does my photo look blurry or fuzzy?
Probably because it was sent at the wrong size. Sistahs for Sistahs posts all photos at minimum of 154 x 154 pixels. If the photo you sent is significantly larger than this size, it will automatically be resized, which often causes significant loss in quality. There are several free photo manipulation software programs available online (we recommend looking at www.shareware.com) which you can use to resize and sharpen your photo to give it the best quality possible.

4. Why is my photo not appearing with my profile?
Here are the reasons why photos fail to appear with profiles:
- The file name isn't correctly input -- When filling out your profile form, you're asked the file name of your photo (for example, jane.jpg). If this file name doesn't match the file you uploaded, your photo will not appear. You can revise your photo's file name by editing your profile. Once you have typed in the name of your photo(for example, jane.jpg)be sure and click "update". After clicking "update" you are now ready to upload your photo.
- The file size of your photo is too large -- Due to server space considerations, Sistahs for Sistahs limits the size of uploaded photos. If you received an error message saying "File Too Big", or you have double-checked your profile to ensure that the file name was correctly input and you're still not seeing your photo, this probably means that your photo is going to have to be resized before it will successfully upload. If you do not have a graphics program capable of resizing your photo, simply email us your photo and we will resize it.
